City Council Place 3 in runoff

The Austin City Council consists of one mayor and six council members. Each position is at-large, meaning each member is selected by voters citywide, and the election is officially nonpartisan. Each member serves a three-year term, and terms are staggered. Thus, three of the members are voted on one year, with the remaining members, including the mayor, elected the following year. Term limits are two consecutive terms.

The election resulted in a runoff for Austin City Council, Place 3.  The candidates in the June 11 runoff election are Margot Clarke (http://www.margotclarke.com/) and Jennifer Kim (http://www.kimforaustin.com/).
