Since every plant variety has its own temperature and sunlight requirements for seed germination, flowering, and fruit production, there is an optimum time for planting. The following tables list varieties that are well-suited for our region and the best time to plant them. Many gardeners in the club vary these dates slightly based on factors like weather conditions and moon phases. The shaded areas in the table below refers to the correct time to plant seeds unless noted for plants.
