How You Can Help

The Capital of Texas Aquarium is a private, nonprofit 501 (c)(3) educational corporation. The Aquarium will be self supporting and not require annual tax support. Your contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Individual and corporate contributions are crucial to the goal of bringing a world-class public aquarium to Austin. It is only through these kinds of contributions and the work of volunteers that we will be able to achieve this goal.

The Capital of Texas Aquarium participates in the Randalls Good Neighbor program. By linking your Remarkable Card with #8135, our organization will receive a donation from Randalls equal to 1% of the purchase.

Because the decision on the future use of the Seaholm Power Plant will be a political one, it is crucial that the City Council recognize that there is a broad base of support for the Capital of Texas Aquarium. If you like the idea of a cultural institution which offers education, recreation and economic development, consider contacting one of the officials listed below and telling them of your support for the use of Seaholm.
