Much gratitude to Mario Galliano for bringing in the article so it could be scanned and posted on our site.

MEETING RECAP

Another fantabulous Arthur Storer Club meeting. We had 2 guests. (Did you know that we have been averaging 2-3 guests per meeting now? And in the last few months, 67% of guests have signed up!)

Bill was our Toastmaster today, with the theme: Monsters.

He started out the meeting, decked out handsomely as Count Dracula, and sang "The Monster Mash" with singers Vampire Mary and Vampire Martha! (Wish I'd taken a photo.)

We had only one speaker this morning.  Cathy Smith entertained us with an informative talk about pharmaceuticals and advertising. We look forward to hearing more from her in the future.

Mary was Table Topics master today, and surprised us all by donning a monster mask and clawed gloves. She asked questions such as: "You are the monster under the bed. Tell us about your nightly ritual." And "You are a monster starring in King Kong. Tell us which actress you wish to have playing with you."

AWARD WINNERS

Cathy Smith took Best Speaker award, and Dennis Pu the Best Evaluator award.

Mario Galliano took Best Table Topics, with his response to being the monster under the bed.

And Bill Whisenant received the Most Enthusiastic award.

BIRTHDAYS

We celebrated Jeff Johannigman's birthday today with a delicious carrot cake, and Jeff wasn't even there. Too bad. That's okay, though Jeff. There was more for the rest of us!

Next month, at our December 1st meeting, we will be celebrating the following December birthdays:

Mary Montgomery - December 6th

Debi Sigrest – December 27th

Donna Stefanov – December 29th

DECEMBER MEETINGS:

Our next meeting will be December 1st.

After that, December 8th, and December 29th.

In January, we will commence with meeting every 1st, 3rd, and 5th (if there is one) Saturdays.

We hope to see you all at the next meeting.
