Weight Classes: 2004-2005 (TX USA weights and divisions)
Wrestlers may enter in different age group divisions, but not in two different weight classes within the same age group category.
Open Wrestlers: Can only wrestle in Open.
Rookie Wrestlers (those wrestlers who have not competed in any tournaments prior to April, 2004): May wrestle in the Rookie Division or the Open Division.
***Novice Wrestlers: .(Novice wrestlers are defined as second year wrestlers who have not competed in any tournaments prior to April, 2003.)*** Please note… that novice wrestlers can enter in either the Open tournament or the Rookie/ Novice tournament, but not in both. If your novice wrestler is clearly ahead of the rookie status, please encourage him or her to enter in the open division. Wrestlers may however enter in different age group divisions within the Open tournament or in different age group divisions within the Rookie/Novice tournament.
