Cockroach Cooties is about Teddy and Bobby who are brothers. They are getting bullied by Arnie-zilla. Arnie-zilla is a person at their school in Chinatown, San Francisco. Arnie bullies other people such as little kids. One day, they found a cockroach on Teddy’s shirt. Bobby used the cockroach, Hercules, to scare away Arnie. Then, Hercules went in the ink box. Teddy and Bobby went to visit Charlie who lived next door to them. Charlie is the bug lady. She studies entomology. She tries to give them advise about caring for Hercules. Teddy thought her apartment was worse than a horror movie and Bobby thought it was fascinating and there were lots of bugs. Charlie gave Teddy and Bobby some cookies but Bobby didn’t eat them. Teddy brought a couple cookies with him. Bobby and Teddy went to the restaurant for their mother’s birthday. Hercules got out of his box and went to the food. Uncle Mat ate the prawns that Hercules ate.

Later, Teddy and Bobby put the cookies in their lunches. Arnie ate the cookies. Bobby told Arnie that the cookies had bugs in them and if the bugs had eggs, then they would try to eat their way out! Then, they made a treaty with Arnie which makes Arnie stop brothering them.

This was a good book but not the best.
