Neighborhood Markers
The neighborhood markers are an idea that came from the 2005 Steering Committee. The Steering Committee applied and received a grant from Keep Austin Beautiful. To match the grant funds received, volunteers from the neighborhood donated their time. There are a total of five markers and the Steering Committee is working with the City of Austin to get approval for other locations in our neighborhood. Thanks to all that helped install the first marker located at the northwest corner of North Lamar and Koenig Lane in front of Wireless Toyz.
