restaurants nearby the yacht club. Hudson's On The
Bend (dress nicely) On RR 620
@ 3509 RR 620 N, 512-266-1369 is an excellent
restaurant 5 minutes from the AYC on Hiway 620 near the intersection of Hudson
bend road. Carlos and Charlies Carlos and
Charlies ,5981 Hiline Rd 512-266-1683 at
the end of Hudson Bend road are known for their Margurita’s, The Oasis, located
just East of AYC on the other side of the lake is known for it’s Sunset views
and features Mexican food and live music. The The
Iguana Grill with a good view of the lake is
at
2900 RR 620 N, 512-266-8439 also serves Mexican fare. These are a few of the more
popular spots and there are also numerous fast food and franchise restaurants
within a 5 to 30 minute drive.
Downtown
Austin offers many more options including many featuring live entertainment
especially on 6th street.

There is also a West Marine Store in the shopping center at the Southwest Corner of Hiway 183 ( Also known as Research Boulevard) and Burnet road.
From the North: Take Interstate 35 toward Austin and exit at Hiway 620 west. It is about 15 miles to the Anderson Dam. Turn right at the first traffic light after the dam, go one mile and turn right on Beacon. AYC is at the end of Beacon
From The South: Take Interstate 35 to Austin, Exit Hiway 71 west toward Johnson City. Turn Right on Hiway 620 and proceed to Hudson Bend Road, Turn left, go one mile and turn right on Beacon. AYC is at the end of Beacon
From The East: Take Highway 71 to Austin and follow Directions from the South after you cross I 35.
From the West: Take Hiway 71 to the Village of Bee Caves, turn left onto Hiway 620. proceed to Hudson Bend Road, turn left, go one mile and turn right on Beacon. AYC is at the end of Beacon
