The Presbyterian Church (USA) is in mission with church partners in over 80 countries around the world. The Presbyterian presence and connection in Guatemala makes up but a few threads in the larger tapestry of the worldwide mission of Jesus Christ, and occupies only one small corner of the vineyard where faithful saints live and work and worship. Yet each year through PRESGOV (Presbyterian Groups, Obreros fraternales [mission workers] and Volunteers) - the branch of the National Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Guatemala (IENPG) that receives and facilitates visiting groups and delegations from U.S. congregations and presbyteries - over 200 U.S. Presbyterians are blessed and challenged with spending a week to ten days in community and partnership with their brothers and sisters in Guatemala.
