Community members admiring new pulpera machine draped with colored paper. The rest of our trip was spent visiting nine of the sixteen communities that CESSMAQ supports. In each place we heard from the various committees and were shown (with great pride) the results of their programs.

At our first stop in Tzampoj we were able to participate in the "ribbon cutting" ceremony of the pulpera machine bought for Tzampoj and Sohomnip by the people at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Austin. [For more information on communities and projects, see the CESSMAQ workplan "Seeds of Hope".]
