A Mayan man stands in the new computer lab, next to a computer monitor displaying a program. We were very blessed to be able to take part in the Second Anniversary Celebration of the Gilgal Presbyterian Church in La Ceiba. Many of you have met the pastor, Samuel Sohom and he was so proud as representatives from churches all over the region and CESSMAQ joined in the festive 3-hour service followed by a grand luncheon.

We followed all this by opening their computer center with four computers we had brought with us. The center is the beginning of what we hope will be many computers so that the students will be trained and better able to compete for jobs in the larger communities.
