Pascuala Chang Masariego, of Chuisajcava, Guatemala, tells about her pig:

Plump pink pig.I bought my own pig. I bought it for about 600 Quetzales [$65 US]. It grew and had piglets. I sold the piglets. I just kept the pigs' mother. I earned a large profit. Then she had another litter which I sold.

With the earnings, I bought my sewing machine. Yes. And now I have my pig and I also work with my machine. Yes. The machine helps me earn support, too.
