As outlined in the partnership agreement, oversight of the Partnership Agreement between Mission Presbytery and CESSMAQ, the Evangelical Committee for Service and Support - Maya Quiché, is vested in the Mission Outreach and Service Division of Mission Presbytery. The Chair of the Division, or an appointed representative, serves as an ex-officio member of the Guatemala Partnership Team. All financial transactions involving donations from individuals, congregations, grants received from organizations inside or outside the Presbyterian Church or various fund raising activities are accounted for through the presbytery's bookkeeping system. This system uses generally accepted accounting principles and is subject to annual review by auditors. The Mission Presbytery partnership with CESSMAQ is built upon a foundation of mutual trust and respect. It is one of both giving and receiving on the part of both parties to the partnership.
