lifetime.
Through the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 which made
it against the law to discriminate against people because of their
disabilites, people with disabilities have moved into communities and
become neighbors, friends, students, and regular citizens. People with
disabilties may need modifications or additional supports which Community
Options provides.
Community Options is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency dedicated to developing residential and employment supports for people with disabilities utilizing technology and training. These programs are individualized to each person and may include a variety of services. These services are funded in part by federal and state governments, but these funding sources supply inadequate funds and have long waiting lists.
