Nationally, CROP WALKS shared $3.6 million with food banks, pantries, community gardens, and other local hunger-fighting agencies in the U.S.

Walkers raising $100 or more receive a small flag representing one of the over eighty countries where Church World Service is working.
More than 400 Austin CROP WALKers were flag bearers in 2001!

25% of CROP WALK funds help right here at home for emergency relief, self help development and refugee assistance. That means that more than $25,000 benefits local groups such as
Austin Baptist Chapel, Church Food Pantry,
El Buen Samaritano,
Faith Home, Foundation for the Homeless Breakfast Program, Hill Country Community Ministries, Hope Food Pantry, Mary House, Mobile Loaves and Fishes, Montopolis Friendship Center, St. Julia's Catholic Church Food Pantry, South Austin Assistance Ministry, Vin Care Services of Austin,
Capital Area Food Bank, Austin Community Gardens/Sustainable Food Center, Interfaith Hospitality Network, Austin Area Interreligious Ministries Refugee Program, Casa Marianella, Bread for the World, Center for Public Policy Priority, RESULTS, Texas Homeless Network,
and three local church feeding programs.
