Kars for Kids Fund Raiser - May 8, 1999
Austin, Texas, USA - Thirty-four members participated in an annual fund raising activity sponsored by Sonic Drive-in Restaurants, Inc of Austin, Texas, USA. This was a one day event held on May 8, 1999, which was the Saturday before Mother's Day. Over $20,000 was raised to benefit the Helping Hand Home for Children in Austin. Over 200 collector cars of all types were on display. There were games, auctions, and other fund raising activities.

Twenty four of our own cars were on display as part of the draw.
The Hill Country Street Rodders were also represented.
The Porsche Drivers Club had eight cars present.
Showing our colors and campaigning for membership is a continuous activity of our club.
