Rosanky Swap Meet - September 2000
Rosanky, Texas, USA - The Club Hospitality Tent was busy all day and the weather was fair and warm for the third weekend of September in Central Texas. The Rosanky Swap Meet may be one of the fastest growing antique auto club swap meets in the country. Sold vendor spaces grew from 300 to around 1000 in only the second year of its existence. Its a down-home weekend where vendors and collectors can mingle. Swap meet rule number one is don't do anything dumb. Rule two is there are no more rules.
The Central Texas Region took this opportunity to campaign for membership. We placed shade, refreshments, photo albums, and membership applications on our club spaces. We had a nice crowd of visitors for all three days. Plan to make this event next year. See you there.
