The Flight Captain introduced our speaker, LtGen Doug Owens, our new National Flight Commander. He recently retired as the Vice Commander at Randolph. Our Flight Commander happened to be paired with him at the convention golf tournament and he readily accepted an invitation to speak at our June meeting. He reflected on our beginnings in 1934 when a bunch of Lieutenants and Captains met to form an organization that reflected their love of the Red, White, and Blue.
