AUCTION 2002
This year's annual book auction will be held on September 14, 2002,
at 10:00 a.m., in the Crockett Center, 6301 Highway 290 East, Austin,
Texas. Preview hours are Friday, September 13, from 5:30 p.m. until
9:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 14, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00
a.m. The preview on Friday evening is for members only. Memberships
will be available at the door. The following is a list of books
currently selected for the auction: [Auction list available in July
2002.] Exceptional Books This year's selection of exceptional books is one of our best ever.
We will have books records, tapes, CDs, and computer software ranging
from $3.00 on up. Among the selections are a large number of cookbooks,
Texana, children's (including a nice selection of pop-ups), as well
as the usual wide selection of fiction. We also received a number
of advance review copies, some dating from the 1950s and 1960s.
We have also a good selection of early mechanics and engineering
books of interest to the collector. Our selection of art and history
is the largest we have had in a number of years. As usual, these
