March 2004 DAMA Newsletter is available online. Here are some highlights.
The new DAMA website will be unveiled early April 2004. Some of the changes include: an organized and consistent-looking web pages; an automated surveying capability for both DAMA and chapters; an online membership database. Also the chapters can use the software to create their own web sites that will look similar to DAMA.
New certification announced. Starting at the DAMA Los Angeles conference, a review course and exam in CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) will be offered. For more information go to DAMA's web site.
Beta testing completed for Data Warehousing exam. The exam is now available in a production version through ICCP. office@iccp.org
REMINDER. The DAMA conference is May 2-6, 2004 in Los Angeles, CA.
Over 10,000 people are expected to attend the world's largest vendor-neutral data management conference.
