KRAM
K-RAM is Johnston's television station that sends announcements, news stories from around the school and weather to students quickly and efficiently. K-RAM comes on every morning during RamTime and is filled with the vibrant personalities of our student broadcasters and with stunning computer graphics. K-RAM is one of the few television stations in Austin Independent School District. Fox-7 is K-RAM's local sister station. They often come to Johnston to aid in the production of the television show.
Student announcers learn many valuable skills through being on K-RAM. In addition to gaining propfessional quality communication skills, K-RAM enables students to overcome their fears of public speaking. K-RAM is a very popular activity among Johnston students.
"The reason I like K-RAM is mainly being able to work with the people and getting to know them better," senior Jennifer A. said.
