Rampages
Rampages is Johnston's Literary Magazine. It provides students with an outlet for creative expression. Students can submit a work of fiction, non-fiction, or poetry throughout the year. Photography submissions are also accepted.
During the spring semester, the Rampages staff decides what pieces they feel best fit the theme of that particular year. The layout is the designed by the students and the books are ready for distribution by the fall semester of the following year. Rampages is a good opportunity for students to showcase their work and pump up their writing portfolios. For those involved in the class, it is an excellent chance to work on their publication, design and layout skills. Rampages accepts donations to help cover the cost of publishing the book. Interested parties should contact Johnston High School and ask to be directed to the Rampages advisor.
