What is LifeKit?
LifeKit consists of a blank form for basic medical information, an identifiable container and a notification sticker. The information sheet is kept in the container which is then stored in the refrigerator for easy access. The notification sticker is placed on the front door of the home to inform an EMS medic that the LifeKit is available. The information sheet contains the following information:
Where can I get LifeKit? LifeKit is provided free through pharmacies and other civic-minded businesses and organizations. Look for the display box and take a container and as many blank forms as needed for your household. Fill out the form, place in container and store in the refrigerator. Place the sticker on the front door -- it's that simple! If your pharmacy doesn't have the LifeKit available, encourage them to get it. |
