Brian Lackey has been active in scouts since Tiger Cubs. He joined troop 511 in December of 2001. He went through his ordeal in the Spring of 2004 and got his brotherhood in march of the next year. He has served as Chapter Secretary in the past and is now Chapter Chief, Lodge Troop Rep Chairman, and Thunderbird Society Vice Chief. He is currently on his 5th Silver Pines Staff and has been to all three high adventure bases.

Austin Friday
Vice Chief of Service

Austin Friday is the Vice Chief of Service for Longhorn Chapter. He has been in Scouts since Tiger Cubs, and now holds the rank of Life Scout. He became a member of the Order of the Arrow almost two years ago in 2004. The OA has become part of his life, much like school and sports. The OA has provided opportunities for him to stretch his leadership skills, become a part of a productive community, and get to know a lot of great people. He encourages all members of the Longhorn Chapter to become more active and participate in this great program.

Jonathan "Bunker" Hillis
Secretary/Treasurer

Jonathan "Bunker" Hillis began his Scouting career in Pack 20. He became a Boy Scout and joined Troop 399 after 5th grade. He joined the OA in the Fall of 2004 and got Brotherhood the next year. He is now an Eagle Scout with double gold palm and in Venture Crew 10. He is Longhorn Chapter Secretary, Ceremonies Chairman on the LEC, and Thunderbird Society Inductions Chairman. He encourages all Arrowmen to get involved in the chapter and lodge by finding something they love to do and working with it. Ceremonies are a great option, but there are many things you can do to help the lodge. He reminds you all that after you take that first step into Brotherhood, Cheerfulness, and Service, the rest of the journey is easy.

Collin Evans
Publications Committee Chairman

Collin has been active since Cub Scouts and is now an Eagle Scout in Troop 399. He was the Lodge Secetary during the 05-06 term and he is the Vice Chief of Brotherhood for the 06-07 term. He plans on being at every event so look for him in his brotherhood recruiter hat and get your brotherhood!!!

Stew Myrick
Chapter Adviser

Stewart has been active in Scouting for a total of 19 years, including the last 13 years as an adult volunteer. In those twelve years, he has served in every position with Troop 459, sponsored by Hyde Park Baptist Church, including serving five years as its Scoutmaster. In addition, Stewart has worked on the Longhorn District Committee. He completed Wood Badge training as a member of the Beaver patrol, and he has had the honor of serving on the staff for several courses. Stewart currently serves as the Longhorn Chapter advisor for the Order of the Arrows Tonkawa Lodge, as well as a member of the All-Vigil Kitchen. An Eagle Scout from the class of 1981, Stewart has also been awarded the Baptist Good Shepherd Award, the OAs Vigil Honor and Founders Award, the District Award of Merit, and the Silver Beaver.

Stewart currently works as a program director for the Professional Licensing and Certification Unit of the Texas Department of State Health Services.
