The Mayfair is a formal ballroom dance club, possibly the oldest in Austin. It has continued successfully since beginning in 1940. The limited memberships of 100 couples reside in communities from Georgetown to San Antonio and Manor to Marble Falls.

The club presents three formal (black tie) dances per year with dance band orchestra playing dance music of the big band era mixed with contemporary romantic dance music. All dances are held in downtown Austin at The Austin Club, 110 East 9th Street. Dances are 8:00 PM - 11:30 PM. Breakfast is served at 10:00 PM. Membership for the current fiscal year is $225 per year per couple which includes everything except your bar tab.

Many believe The Mayfair Dance Club is the best dance club in the best venue available in Central Texas.

The Annual Mayfair Members Directory is a member service of the Mayfair Dance Club

The directory is a convenient source of contact information for Mayfair members with the additional benefit of photographic recognition. It allows members to refresh memory of that interesting couple you met at the last Mayfair dance and confirm dance dates and contact information quickly and easily.

Please submit your photograph along with your member application. A proof copy of your member page with photograph is provided for your review and approval prior to printing. There is no charge for this service to new members.

Formal wear photographs are preferred. If providing a hard copy original it will be carefully computer scanned for the directory and returned to you.
