2011-2012 PROGRAM NEWS
Chuck Gaede

We have an interesting and exciting program of speakers developing for our new meeting year. We will continue to observe the Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Army anniversaries in their respective months, and in December we have the traditional dinner dance planned.
For the remaining meetings, we are bringing in a variety of speakers from personal affairs readiness and recreation to domestic terrorism. Taking a cue from several articles in the MOAA Magazine on Chapters' involvement with ROTC units, we are reaching out to two JROTC programs that have received our scholarships and inviting their senior instructor and one of their Cadets to join us for dinner and a presentation. Those of us who have represented AMOAA and presented ROTC and JROTC awards and scholarships know how sharp and inspiring these young men and women are, and we know you will be impressed as well. Perhaps a side benefit will be the building of future MOAA members.
Our program for the year is complete, unless we have a cancellation. Many of you have made recommendations for our potential speakers, and that assistance has made preparing the program much easier. Thanks to each of you.
