The meeting was called to order by the President, Chuck Gaede, at1330 Hrs. The invocation was given by Leon Holland.

Minutes: The minutes were distributed to all present and approved as printed.

OLD BUSINESS: March food was much better. Gumbo's redeemed itself with the better food. The speaker was Art Acevedo, chief of the Police Department in Austin.

OFFICER REPORTS: 

1ST VICE PRESIDENT: 
     A. Phil advised that the Band contract for the 2013 Christmas Party had been signed. 
     B. The speaker for the April meeting will be John Vanson, a retired Lt Col.

2ND VICE PRESIDENT: Absent 

3RD VICE PRESIDENT: JR Howard reviewed some of the better location options that the team was considering. There would be a $2.00 per person room fee at the American Legion and a $4.00 per person room fee at the Shrine Temple. Bar report-Some persons did not pay at all. We removed the $1.00 contribution sign and the contributions went up. Some people asked for " doubles in order not to make another trip to the bar. The TICKET IDEA was discussed. The idea agreed upon was to leave it "AS IS" for the remainder of this year since we have only two more months. J. R. emailed a survey about doing a lunch rather than a dinner. Of the 46 respondents, 31 would attend a lunch while 8 would not.  15 preferred a luncheon while 17 preferred the evening event.

SECRETARY: None 

TREASURER: The Treasurer gave a printed report to each by e-mail previously. The balance was $8026. +. The scholarship Fund has $3020.00. We were given another $500 for the Scholarship Fund at the last general meeting. The attendance report as 64 members and 3 guests one year ago; and in this March we had 67 with 1 guest.
