The Ridgetop neighborhood is located in Austin, Texas just Southwest of where Interstate Highway 35 and US Highway 290 intersect. Specifically, it is bounded by IH-35 to the East, Koenig Lane/US Hwy. 290 to the North, and 45th Street to the South with Red River and Airport Blvd. to the West. This corridor along Airport Blvd. is an area known throughout the city simply as “Ridgetop".
Ridgetop residents are a group of friendly, supportive people who share concerns and thoughts on our community with a focus on becoming a better neighborhood. We are a prime example of urban diversity with residents of every economic, ethnic and educational background. Our neighborhood is also home to many vibrant local businesses and community services.
We all share common interests and concerns, such as our neighborhood fronting major transit corridors (Airport Blvd., 51st Street and IH-35 frontage roads), the Capital Metro commuter rail line, proximity to the Mueller Airport redevelopment, Ridgetop Elementary School, the city sponsored Day Labor Center, Travis County Tax Assessor's office, Travis County Sheriff's office and similar housing stock and development patterns from the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s.

Communication is the key to maintaining close relationships between residents, businesses and government entities. We take a multi faceted approach by publishing and distributing a quarterly newsletter, providing a RidgetopNA yahoo group email list, and by holding regularly scheduled and impromptu neighborhood meetings.
