NACN is currently working with the Austin Police Department to curtail the unusually high rate of crime on Rundberg Lane, in North Austin. We have had two well publicized citizen protest marches, asking for more attention and resources from the city. At this time, we are concentrating our efforts in three areas - seeking property abatements to condemn businesses that are used by criminals, meeting with County Commissioners Court to request a Neighborhood District Attorney for North Austin, and seeking grant funding for a Neighborhood DA.
