Cub Scout Pack 1

Welcome to the website for Pack 1! We meet at First Presbyterian Church of Austin, located at 8001 Mesa Drive near the intersection of Spicewood Springs Rd & Mesa. We're part of the Longhorn District of the Capitol Area Council.

Cub Scouts is for boys in 1st through 5th grades. Our dens meet weekly, on Tuesday evenings, from 7:00 to 8:15pm. Pack meetings are held once a month (also on Tuesday), so the dens can share with everyone and scouts can receive the beads, patches, beltloops, pins, and other awards they've earned throughout the month. We started the pack as a "Homeschool Pack", but we have a few scouts who are not homeschooled. All boys between 1st and 5th grade level are welcomed openly by Pack 1. We encourage parent involvement to make it rewarding and fun for everyone! Service projects and character building are important since the pack is an extension of FPC's youth ministry. They have provided a great meeting place, and they are very supportive of our group. Call or email us for more information. Or better yet, come and visit a den or pack meeting!
