Purpose
The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America; Incorporated on February 8, 1910, and chartered by Congress in 1916, is to provide an educational program for boys and young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.
Cub Scouting
Cub Scouting is a year-round family program designed for boys who are in the first grade through fifth grade (or 7, 8, 9, and 10 years of age).
Cub Scouts do fun things with other kids!
They get to wear a cool uniform, go places, and see things.
They play all kinds of sports and build things, like race cars and bird houses.
Want to learn a secret code?
Want to learn about wild animals?
If you're a boy in the first through fifth grades (ages 7 to 10), go Cub Scouting!
