Living with Bats
If you know Austin, you know our bats. Every summer a colony of nearly 1.5 million Mexican Freetail bats come to roost under the Congress Avenue bridge over Town Lake. It is the largest known urban bat colony in the world.

Lucky Mutts Rescue
A no-kill rescue group located in Austin. We are also one of the very few local rescue groups that do not do same day adoptions and that makes a commitment to each dog for life. We are committed to the best interests of each dog that enters our program.

Town Lake Animal Center Volunteers
TLAC volunteers center around customer service to the public, some jobs include direct interatction with the adoption dogs and cats to improve their behavior while awating adoption, and other jobs help in a "behind-the-scenes" capacity.

Williamson County Area Beekeepers Association
Promotes the art and science of beekeeping through club meetings, programs, mentors, and youth scholarships.
