Lin ONOFRIO Brinkman (#1388 ) called the meeting to order with nine present.

Betty TOMMASELLI Glaser (new member #5297 ) made contact with a distant cousin who has pictures and documents which may be of use in tracing TOMMASELLI family roots. She also received military records on her father, William Joseph TOMMASELLI, who served from March 1943 to December 1944 at Ft. Devers, Massachusetts.

Don VILLONI gave us information on a local speaker he and Shirley had heard. Joyce Wans spoke on, "What my Great-great Grandfather taught me". We will check to see if she can speak to our Chapter.
  Don told us about the Williamson County Genealogical Society's Annual Seminar on 19 March in Round Rock, Texas. The speaker is Elissa SCALISE Powell. She will speak on :

• "How Did my PA ancestor get here ? Migration Trails out of the Keystone State"
• "Hiding Behind Their Skirts : Finding Women's Records"
• "Rubik's Cube Genealogy: A New Twist on Your Old Data"
• "Thinking Outside the Index: Advanced Search Techniques"

Joe MASTRANGELO ( #2614 ) continues to search for the missing Putignano civil Records from approximately 1810-1843. He has been unsuccessful with the LDS records, and is trying the church records. Joe is hoping this time the replies will not take over five years!
  He informed us that the COI ( Communes of Italy ) magazine ceased production as of January 2011, and reminded us the the POINT magazine is going green, and will be published in a PDF format.

Our next meeting will be held on February 23rd.
