Lin ONOFRIO Brinkman (#1388) opened the monthly POINTers In Person meeting
at the Brinkman home on 9 October 1999 following a garage sale to raise
funds for the POINTer 2000 Conference with 17  members and guests present.

Lin showed Pat Oxley's completed POINT Conference registration form. Lin
told that husband Bill has found five new surnames for her family : D'ORZO,
DAMIANO, MARTUCCIO, TROTTA and MASTROIANI, all from Caserta Province.

Jeannie MARSALIA found the article from TEXAS HIGHWAYS about the Coppini
Museum in San Antonio.  Lin will make it available at November 17 meeting.

Lin announced that the January meeting will be held at Round Rock Public
Library's Genealogy section.  The Williamson County Genealogy Society will
now meet there starting in November.

Bert and Frank Henry (IANNARINO) announced their upcoming visit to
Pittsburgh, PA, and that they will soon be moving to San Angelo, TX. They'll
be living on a lake, so the PIP members hope for a field trip!

The students in Bill Brinkman's beginning genealogy classes for Round Rock
Community School have been very successful.

Next meeting 17 November at Bank One, Round Rock, and 12 December meeting
is potluck.
