3/4 view concept sketch
top, side, and front views

Members of the Texas Solar Energy Society (TXSES) and Silicon Barrio are building a Solar and Wind Cart for public education purposes. This high performance version improves on the prototype.

Planned new or improved features include all terrain, all weather capability, satellite data, video, and voice link, add-on amphibious capability, high mission payloads, larger solar panel, solar panel orientation adjustment, drive motors,

Proposed missions for this super cart are adventurous- scientific exploration, search and rescue, wildfirefighting, humanitarian demining support, expedition support, disaster relief, etc.. A rugged solar powered platform is a real tool. When the cart ends up at a TXSES event or some convention it will have a lively story to tell.
