Begun in 1986, Varmint became the first computer controlled robot of Silicon Barrio and the Robot Group

David Santos designed Varmint and coordinated the project. Mark Dommers implimented the computer control and electronics. Joe, David, and James Perez did metal fabrication. Brooks Coleman did the pnuematic actuation. Norm Annals drafted Varmint for those interested in building a copy.
