Picture this. It’s three a.m. and you’re staring bleary eyed in a bowl
of matzo ball soup. Your girl friend Buffy hands you a corned beef on
rye. You’re trying to forget your name is Hernandez..... You’ve got a
problem. Try LATINS ANONYMOUS. Join in on a outrageous support group
meeting of identity challenged characters as they take the audience
through a bold, colorful comedic look at the many sides of being
Latino. LATINS ANONYMOUS uses a fast-paced sketch comedy style to
introduce you to a cast of explosively funny characters like the suave
Samuel Espada, P.P.I., Private Pachuco Investigator, and the rugged
Machos of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom, with that infamous Colombian, Juan Valdez
and his co-host Fidel Castro. Enroll in a steamy session of Lolana’s
Advanced Latin Woman’s Aerobics or tune in to Hermana Petra’s
street-wise advice talk show broadcasting live from the barrio. This is
just a sample of the many characters that “send stereotypes into deep
space!” One Los Angeles daily printed, “You don’t a have to be Latino
to understand or appreciate this show. You just have to be alive!”
This hilarious, distinctly Latino-style, comedy will delight all
Austin audiences.

LATIN’S ANONYMOUS features versatile and dynamic performances by James
Borrego (Lone Star, Pain Flower), Vangi Munoz-Garza (Petra’s Pecado),
Marissa Castañon (Watsonville) and Domingo Chavez (Watsonville) with
the direction of Rodney Garza (Petra’s Pecado)
