NOTICE: Skate World Austin has closed their Anderson Mill Road location!

Skateworld Northwest closed in May 2007 and is looking to re-locate by the end of the summer. James is investigating other venues for Rainbow Rollerskating and making a plan to keep Rainbow Rollerskating going. Updates will be posted here when they are available.

We'll skate again soon. Keep those wheels lubricated!

Rainbow Rollerskating is a fun way skate and meet people. We often get turn-outs of 50 people of all age ranges.

When: The second Monday of each month, 8pm - 11:00pm.
Dates and beneficiaries for 2007 include:
Where: Skate World Austin
9514 Anderson Mill Road
258-8886 (Rink Info).
Directions: From Mopac & 183, go North on 183. Exit for Anderson Mill Road. Turn right on Anderson Mill Road, which is the first light. Then look for the large olive and gray building on the left. If the parking lot is full, you can park across the street at the Albertson's.
A map is available from GoogleMaps.
Info: For more information, call James @ 296-0381 or e-mail James Svetlik (jsvetlik2003@yahoo.com). See our Photos page for photos from the event. Also, see our Staying in Touch page to be added to the e-mail reminder list for the event.
Cost: Admission $6, which includes skate rental, or bring your own. Rollerblades are welcome. Bringing your own skates is encouraged as we sometimes run out of popular sizes. (If you can't skate, you won't be charged.) Additional donations for the night's charity will also be accepted at the door. Proceeds from the events go to community charities. We raised $658.50 for charities in 2006. Overall have raised and donated over $8600.

Men, women, and supervised children are welcome. Come join us and bring your friends!
