This is a national yearly event held the last Saturday in April.
El Corazón de Tejas staffs a Poetry Tent where youth paste together simple word poems in English and Spanish.

An author series sponsored by El Corazón de Tejas, Austin Public Library, and the Texas Center for the Book at the Dallas Public Library. This program was made possible in part by a grant from Humanities Texas, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

El Corazón de Tejas is a partner for this event and, will also help organize Libros y Letras Latinas at the MACC (Mexican American Culutral Center)
