This is a national yearly event held the last Saturday in April.
El Corazón de Tejas staffs a Poetry Tent where youth paste together simple word poems in English and Spanish.

El Corazón de Tejas is a partner for this event and, will also help organize Libros y Letras Latinas at the MACC (Mexican American Culutral Center)

for volunteering with the poetry table! Thanks to Elva Garza and Paola Ferate-Soto for helping to plan a great event.
