Informational Meetings  

Informational meetings are held on the first Thursday of each scheduled month (see below for scheduled meetings) at St. David's Hospital on 32nd Street in Austin. Meetings begin promptly at 7:00 p.m.  The meeting room is located next to the St. David's cafeteria.

DIRECTIONS: Enter St. David's Hospital.  Take an elevator to the Basement. Follow the signs to the 'Cafeteria'. Note 'Food Tray Conveyor Belt' to your left as you enter the cafeteria area. Walk straight into St. David's Cafe. The meeting room will be the 1st door on your left, pass the cafeteria check out lines.

Valerie Schneider, LMSW-ACP Valerie Schneider Granoff, LMSW-ACP is in private psychotherapy practice. She sees clients in individual, couples and group sessions. The focus of her work centers on issues of depression, anxiety, relationships and life transitions. For the past five years, Valerie has specialized working with clients dealing with emotional issues related to infertility, pregnancy loss, new pregnancy and parenthood. Valerie began private practice after personally experiencing pregnancy loss and infertility and successfully giving birth to her son. In addition to her clinical practice, Ms. Granoff works regularly with medical practices in Austin and around Texas helping to train nurses and staffs to more effectively support patients coping with the emotional aspects of infertility and pregnancy loss. She speaks regularly at statewide medical conferences and seminars and is a volunteer and consultant to the Central Texas Chapter of Resolve. A long time resident of Austin, Texas, Valerie has been a practicing psychotherapist for over 12 years. After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, she completed her graduate studies in Clinical Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington and obtained her Advanced Clinical Practitioner License in 1992. Prior to entering private practice, Valerie worked as an Employee Assistance Counselor in Arlington, Texas and as a psychotherapist, supervisor and program coordinator for Austin Regional Clinic Mental Health Associates.
