Freddie "Freddy" Ray Jerrells was born on Jan. 4,
1955 to Aron & Mary Jerrells. He was the youngest of five children.
Freddie was a native of Austin attended the Austin ISD and graduated
from J.H. Reagan High School.
Freddie professed Christ at an early age, and was a member of St. Johns
College Heights Baptist Church for over 50 year.
Freddie entered into his eternal rest on Tuesday, June 25th 2013. He is
preceded in death by his father Aron Jerrells and his mother Mary
Jerrells.
He was a devoted husband for 34 years to Carolyn Jerrells and a loving
father and leaves to cherish his precious memories to his four
daughters, Kimpell (James), Erica, LaKisha and Tiffany Jerrells. Four
siblings; Aaron Jerrells Jr. (Arizona), Ruthie Harper (Rev. Ray ),
Weldon Jerrells (Gwendolyn ) and Mary Jerrells all of Austin, six
grandchildren and two great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews,
relatives and friends.
The daughters of Freddy Jerrells would like to express our sincere
appreciation to all of the St. David's hospital staff for their care and
to our many family members and friends for the love, your cards, calls,
visits, prayers and other acts of condolence shown during our hour of
bereavement. Your kindness will forever be remembered. May God Bless
each of you.
