Many neighborhood associations are part of the Rosewood Planning Area. New members from these areas are all welcome to participate. For more information about a specific association or the action issues which neighbors are organizing around, please email their contact person. Meeting times posted are as reported by individual association members and may be subject to change.
- Austin Heights Neighborhood Association
- Covers area between Manor Road, Airport Boulevard, Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, and Walnut, Rogers and Cedar Avenues to the west. Action issues: Redeemer Presbyterian Church development, City construction projects. Clifford-Sanchez Neighborhood Association- Covers area between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Harvey Street, E. 12th Street, and Alexander Avenue. Meetings are the second Thursday of each month, 6pm at Flatbed Art Galleries, 2830 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Action issues: Crime concerns, organization. Rosewood Village-Glen Oaks Neighborhood Association- Covers area between Rosewood Avenue, N. Pleasant Valley Road, New York Avenue, E. 12th. Street (all to the north); Hargrave and Thompson Street to the east, Webberville Road to the south, and Northwestern Avenue to the west. Action issues: affordable housing, bylaws and CHDO. McKinley Heights Neighborhood Association- Covers area between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Airport Boulevard, E. 12th Street, and Harvey Street. New York Avenue Neighborhood Association- Covers New York Avenue between E. 12th Street and Rosewood Avenue. Action issues: outreach, organization.
