SCORE Provides:

  • Guidance to start-up and existing businesses.
  • Monthly workshops featuring speakers from IRS, TEC, Banks, Law Firms, etc.
  • Advice and critique of business plans and other business documents.
  • Informative literature to clients.
  • Business experience to review business opportunities.
  • The How to's of starting a business in Texas.
The Austin Story:

  • Located in the Nationsbank Building (Congress and Oltorf) 2nd floor.
  • Hours are from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday through Friday.
  • No appointment is necessary.
  • The Austin staff is comprised of 22 volunteers.
  • We do visit clients at their facility upon client request and counselor approval.
  • To meet the specific needs of a client, it may be necessary to interview with more than one counselor.
  • The monthly workshops may run all day, a small fee is charged (about $20.00), space is usually limited to first come - first served.
