"Although I was born in Saginaw, Michigan, I know not what it is like there since after 6 months of age, I lived in several states in the U.S. (including Hawaii), Iran, Spain, and Turkey. I began my career as a Financial Analyst for Motorola in 1994 after graduating with a B.B.A in Accounting from Southwest Texas State University. I will be sitting for the CPA exam in Nov03 with a goal to pass all four parts in one sitting. One of my passions in life is to spend time with my 8 year old daughter, family, and friends. I have been so blessed with the presence of the wonderful women in my life and look forward to further expanding my "Sister Circle" of friends."

Nicole Thomas - Web and Technical Committee Chair
Email address: n.thomas@sbcglobal.net

"I was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. I carry B.S. degrees in both Architecture and Computer Science from Florida A&M University and the University of Michigan respectively. I currently work for Motorola as a Network Engineer. I am a "people person" and love to stay active whether I am playing tennis, painting, or working with the great children at my church. One of my passions is "fighting the good fight" in areas of importance for those that do not have a collective voice. I truly look forward to our discussions, fellowship, and friendship."

I call Houston, TX home. My BA in Mass Communications has provided me with several career options. After graduating from Southwest Texas State University, a move to Los Angeles gave me a first hand look into the world of fashion. As a Fashion Assistant to several designers and CODE Magazine, I honed my stylist skills and developed a desire to help women look and feel their best. I currently reside in Houston with careers in elementary education and make-up artisty. I am dedicated to helping the members, as well as myself, discover and become our individual purpose.
