Description: GirlStart is a non-profit organization that's mission is to encourage & motivate young girls in math, science, and technology. This is a high-powered & real results program.
Volunteer Activity: Program Leader & volunteers for the SWE sponsored GirlStart school. There are a variety of volunteer needs from small to large time commitments. Examples are e-mail mentors, virtual volunteer opportunities, fund raising, special committee projects, etc.
