Services for Agency Employees

Borrowing Services

Technical Library Services provides complete borrowing and research services to Texas Comptroller employees. Selected borrowing privileges are extended to other state employees and the public.

Patrons with borrowing privileges through the Texas State Library can check out selected materials. Applications for borrowing materials are available from Technical Library Services or through the library's intranet site at: http://itd.cpa.state.tx.us/library/data/libcardreq.htm

Loan periods vary from one month to one year for Technical Library items. Patrons are financially responsible for library materials.

Research Assistance

The staff of Technical Library Services researches all topics related to computer software, hardware, and telecommunications technologies. Current Information Technology (IT) topics are also collected so that data is available when needed. Research results are presented in an individualized format.
