Philmont 2004
As they enjoy their stay in "Tent City," Brent G. Alex B., Jackson D., and friends spend time playing hackey-sack, not caring of the pressures at home. The wait before the trek is helping get them geared up for the challenge ahead.
Everyone is geared up for the trek and starts off the hike with a small ramp, that goes over the fence. This is the beginning of the trail through the wilderness of Philmont. Jackson D. and others have crossed the threshold while others wait their turn in line.
Here, the guys (Jackson D., Brent G. Scott L., and Michael S.) enjoy their break in the shade after a long day of Backpacking. The guides help these boys in their trek, making it a little more enjoyable for everyone.
Even while on the trail, these hard workers take rests and "power naps." (Seen here: Michael S., Scott N., Kevin R., Alex B., and Brent G.) For them, time is not of importance. Their pace and mindset is up to them. They can take two treks, long or short. Whichever one they take is up to them.
