MANY THANKS FOR THE CONTINUED SUPPORT
When FIAC - West Austin (WA) was established as an interfaith-based non profit organization in 1985 the purpose was to provide support services free of charge to the elderly. It remains a steadfast goal of the Board of Directors of FIAC - WA that services continue at no cost to the clients. The organization is financially assisted in 2007, in part, by 17 sponsoring congregations. Contributions from clients, volunteers and other friends also help us meet the budget requirements.
Additionally, several organizations are honoring FIAC - West Austin with grants in 2007. In collaboration with 7 other volunteer caregiver programs in the Austin region, we have received funding from St. David's Community Health Foundation. The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation granted WA funding as a Faith in Action program. As a 2007-2008 project of The Junior League of Austin, WA receives funding and 23 volunteers.
The Board of Directors, staff & clients are grateful for the continued support.
