North Central Community Health Center
Community Meetings

The Travis County Healthcare District and the Austin/Travis County Community Health Centers are pleased to announce plans to build a new Community Health Center to be located at 1200 West Braker Lane (West Braker Lane and Parkfield Drive) in North Central Austin to replace the Northeast Austin Community Health Center.  More than one-third of our patients from throughout Travis County now live in this area and we are moving to better meet their needs. The new Health Center will serve twice as many patients as the current site and is expected to open in 2010.

Informational meetings about the new Health Center will be held at:

St. John’s Episcopal Church
11201 Parkfield Drive
Thursday, July 31st – and -- Monday, August 4th
7 to 8:30 p.m.

Both meetings will include the same information.

Please join us at either of these meetings to learn more about:
  • The role the Travis County Healthcare District will play in establishing the new Health Center
  • The role the Community Health Center system will play in operating the new Health Center
  • The Health Center’s state-of-the-art, eco-friendly design presented by the Lawrence Group Architects
  • The type of services to be offered at the new Health Center
  • How potential patients may obtain care at the Health Center
  • How local residents will benefit by having a Health Center in their area

We hope you’ll plan to attend one of these informational meetings.  You may also visit the North Central Community Health Center website for more details.
