Attending were Charlie & Kathleen Boas, John Herron, Joe Teakell, Mark Thomas, and George & Carol Wyche.
Mark dominated the meeting with a travelogue of his most recent trip to Louisana to board the latest Oceaneering vessel that can launch two ROVs. Mark pointed out the part of one of the displays whose content shows the results of his programming. In addition to the stills he had made a video of "life at sea with ROVs" which was facinating. Mark answered our many questions.
John Herron brought some ancient computing accessories for us to reminisce about. There was enough group memory about to identifiy and have words to say about "way back when". I had never seen a foot square floppy before.
George showed around the latest Amiga Future and got the group interested in a "letter to the editor" enough to sign a card. Its directed at year end festivities.
Which reminded Charlie to remind all present that "org elections" are next month and that the month after is our annual traipse to a non-pizza restaurant meant to attract the whole family. "Please offer an suggestion!" was Charlie's refrain.
